When you create a SaloLink account, we collect:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and organization name
- Usage data: sales records, visit logs (including location during check-ins), inventory data, and payment history
- Device data: push notification tokens for alerts
How We Use Your Data
We use your data only to provide and improve the SaloLink service:
- Enable sales tracking, visit logging, and inventory management
- Generate reports and analytics for your organization
- Send push notifications you request (payment alerts, reminders)
- Process subscription payments and manage accounts
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We never share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. Data may be shared only:
- With your organization's administrators (for team management)
- As required by applicable law or regulation
- With payment processors to handle transactions
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Financial records (sales, payments) may be retained longer as required by tax and regulatory compliance — these records are anonymized so they can no longer be linked to you.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. Use the in-app settings or visit our account deletion page. Once confirmed, your data is permanently removed.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data in transit. Account passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Access to your data is restricted to your organization members and SaloLink administrators.
